*looks at the number of lights*
NP, because 4 rally lights!
On a more serious note, it does look quite solid-ish where there are no holes. I was once looking at ads for old BMWs (I want(ed) one as a project car), and came across much rustier but still pricier cars.(That was in Europe though, but I’m sure the US 2002 market is quite steep too, right?)

Excellent candidate for restoration? Ah, no. If there are holes like that in the body sheetmetal, it’s a goner underneath. They’re not worth enough to justify it. Maybe worth that much for parts though, so I’ll call it NP.

I say NP because the value on this isn’t going down from there so long as you don’t ruin it.

Perfect car for modifying, because even if you made it tasteless, you saved it from the crusher.

Excellent candidate for a race car.

What’s not to like? If the restoration doesn’t work, just part it out.

That’s the spirit

It might be good for a body swap like that monster 2002/325iX that was at Laguna Seca for the Reunion.

That was kind of my idea. Or if someone must stance a 2002, do it to this one. Or go back in time and steal a certain Oppo members that no long exists.

Low miles, LOL
It’s a parts car at best. From what I can see in pictures I know a bunch of other stuff is hiding. If it’s not running, I don’t think it’s worth that much.
But, I might be wrong . . .
